Practice Fight! Sephi v.s. Daedran

On the outskirts of the Radiant Garden, where the maw that Sora slayed a thousand heartless is. There stood the One-Winged Angel.

His silver hair slightly blown back as winds passed through, his left hand resting on the hilt of his sword. Tense, he waited ... perhaps this was the day? "... better sooner than later ... Cloud. I'm not a patient man ..." he mulled.

You there! You are Sepiroth correct? I've heard much about your strength and wish to challenge you! A man in a lab coat appeared, wielding a sword identical to Sepiroth's.

Sephiroth eyed the new-comer, not bothering to actually turning around. He looked back, his eyes glaring at the man.

"You're not him ... pity, I thought the day would come ..." he the looked forward, again, staring directly back the wrecked remnants of Maleficent's castle. The site of destruction always brought nostalgia to him ...

"Very well ... if you wish to fight, then I'll honor that request" he spoke ... in a soft but sinister tone. His voice was still that of a human, but it was as though he had hissed through his own teeth.

Sephiroth calmly faced his enemy. To him it was lazily turning about, but to anyone watching he had just instantly ended up facing at the lab-coat wearing man. "Show me your strength ..." he calmly stated, left hand gripped tightly on his sword. "Hnnn ... so he can copy weapons? No matter, my Masuname ... is unique" he noted the weapon in the enemy's hand as well ... but said nothing, except one sentence.

"That's enough"

The Silver-haired soldier leapt forward, gliding at his opponent at a violent speed. In one fluid motion, while mostly in mid-air, he drew his blade and lashed out numerous times.

Oooh, you're quick! shouted the scientist in a sudden display of excitement, dodging all but two slashes narrowly, blocking the other two with a shield that appeared out of nowhere. Yes, this is great fun! try a gun next! a small voice in his head stated.With a grin akin to that of an antagonist of a slasher film, he rocketed forward with small fury of swipes of his sword before turning it into a gun-like object and charging energy on the tip.

Sephiroth merely blinked, he showed no sense of emotion as he landed down gently somewhere away from his enemy. "So at least he knows how to use a weapon ... good, he won't be just a bore then" was the only though passing through his head just the man came rushing at him with a fury of swipes.

The former 1st Class SOLDIER guarded rather easily, repelling strikes with ease as his massive Masuname swung about like a feather rather than a ridiculously long sword. But then the opponent had changed the weapon ... into a gun. Sephiroth was amused, but nonetheless, he kept his stoic expression and followed suit with his first magic spell.

~Firaga!!~

He wordlessly gestured with his right hand, and immediately from his body shot out a small meteorite-like projectile that rushed straight at the man, threatening to blast him and incinerate him.

Seeing the fireball headed his way, the man pouts. darn, I can't harm him without being eliminated. Oh well. Utilizing his weapon, he fired a large blast, colliding with the incoming spell, creating a large explosion.

Now, strike! Said the voice again. Before the smoke cleared, he muttered under his breath," Replicate." he cloned his weapon, created three spears, tossing them simultaneously at his opponent with a crooked, broken fits of laughter.

Sephiroth chuckled a little as he saw the Firaga spell implode. Truthfully, he was expecting his spell to be countered ... as it would prove to be a grave mistake.

Now, large flames had ignited and were burning against the ground and threatened to swallow and consume his enemy and fry him nice in crispy. Sephiroth, however, paused at this moment to take in the sight. His mouth curled into one of his rare smiles as the raging flames reminded him of Nibelheim.

"Ahhhh yes ... the days when I was free to kill ... the days I went rampant ... Good times, good times ..." he thought to himself, as he recalled the burning village and the screams that he had so easily silenced.

His attention was drawn back to the fight, after the reverie as he heared a fit of laughter and saw spears flying at him. The SOLDIER cocked his head sideways in a little bit of curiosity ... twice, this man had changed his weapon ... he didn't ponder anymroe for the time being, as his Masuname swatted one spear and cut it into several pieces. The other spear, aimed at his chest, was caught with his right hand. His hand was slightly cut, but it didn't cause any bleeding as the gloves he had on had been thick enough for this situation. The third spear, Sephiroth jumped up as it tried to impale him and stepped down on it ... snapping it into two. Another slash, and the spear point was utterly destroyed.

With the second spear he had just caught, Sephiroth chucked the weapon straight back at the owner with powerful force. The spear was rushing at it's original owner, threatening to pierce him right into the chest if nothing was done ... and possibly slam him into the walls far behind him.

The owner of the spears made a sly smile and began laughing as the shattered weapons by his foe's foot dissolved into dust as a shields appeared in his hands, blocking the spear by mere inches, sending him flying into the wall behind him, cushioned by his own shields, held behind him. He became very frustrated. Most opponents would have fallen by now. Why is this one still here? It must be because you're weak. Yes, you're too weak for this fight. You weak idiot! If you can't beat him you should just die! This unseen tormentor in his mind continued to prod at his emotions until suddenly, his face contorted into a hideous embodiment of rage as he lifted two large guns and a barrier, and with a scream like a tortured animal shouted, WHY DON'T YOU JUST DIE ALREADY?! He fired in every direction, knowing his opponent's speed, even in his insane state.

The ex-SOLDIER's eyebrows slightly raised as his enemy cried out in frustration and fired at him. He didn't really seem all that crazy, and Sephiroth had found that amusing ... but now the man was acting like Hojo when his precious specimens were killed.

"That damned man ... sickening, to think there could be someone just like him ..." his frustration couldn't be seen, except in the tightening grip he had on his Masuname. He repelled the bullets with ease, striking them at such angles that they would fly away from him and strike the ground or anywhere else but himself.

His voice, now cold and somewhat harsh as his memories of Hojo increased his vehemenence, "A god cannot die ... he can fall, fall from the Heavens themselves ... but never die"

These words he nearly spat out, but still with his dignified composure, the One-Winged Angel finished playing around afterwards. He leapt forward, becoming a black blur as he raced across to his opponent, then suddenly as he had learned so long ago when Jenova showed itself to him, he teleported. The man in the black cape now stood behind the mad scientist, his blade raised ... but his right hand outstretched.

"Ultima" he said with definite finality, as a massive explosion occured and white light illuminated the battleground. No matter how fast Daedran was, the Ultima explosion was a split second move that would surround and practically bomb him to smithereens with a non-elemental force that serve to crush, grind, and slice.

Sephiroth's left arm swung at it's own accord, in long sweeping slashes as he leapt and swooped forward, slicing at whatever was at the blast site or even trying to flee as Masuname was ridiculously long. He then muttered to himself "Double ... Thundaga" and rained 6 bolts all around him. Crackling electricty struck everywhere, even though only six lightning bolts appeared. They slammed around the area, sending high voltage charges bursting everywhere and incinerating all but their caster. Sephiroth, however, teleported again and landed back to his orginal position in the maw ... watching his handiwork as the crackling blasts faded.

Daedran fell, His entire body blackened, leaking a large pool of blood onto the ground. He tried to speak, but only a wretched guttural moan would come out. GET UP, YOU WORTHLESS TOOL! YOU STILL HAVE WORK TO DO! He simply ignored the voice and crawled towards his far superior opponent. T-T-T-hank...y-you. he managed to utter before it all went black. He could hear voices, but not what they were saying. He felt TIO nudging his body, silently urging him to wake up. Most of all, he heard the voice in his head scream in agony, calling him a useless waste of a body and mind who should hurry up and die.
